News Rants & Other Things
In The News (updated more often than the rest of the site)
Alright, today's rant is probably very well heard of by now, but I cannot take complete credit for it. Kurai's grandfather submitted an article to the newspaper about the Pacers incident and she relayed the information to me. So here it goes:
The 'Pistol Packin' Pacers' were leaving a nightclub with loaded guns and they got in a fight. One of the men, who's name I am unaware of, was almost run over by a car and he shot his gun at the tires. The Pacers carry guns on them at most times. "They should subject them to the same scrutiny that they do the faithful basketball watchers. THEY are exposed to metal detectors to make sure they don't have guns, so why don't the actual members have to do this?" was quoted from Patrick N. Ryan. He's right. Just because they're famous and make more money than most people I know, doesn't mean that they should be allowed weapons during games...godforbid they shoot at people like at the nightclub...sure, it was self-defense, but they don't see people in their stands actign like their at a hockey game and pulling weapons on eachother. So why don't the 'Pistol Packin' Pacers' get the same treameant as a common man? That's unfair. It's not like their high on the mobs' death-list for all thier victories or anything.
Once again, I give credit to Patrick N. Ryan, Kurai's grandfather, for this information which will hopefully be appearing in the Indianapolis Star soon! But you saw it first here on 'Kuno's News Rants'!
Other Things
This is not good. I cannot believe how little I have gotten on lately. Sure, there haven't been many great opprotunities, but that is no excuse. I will try to get on more often.
